The countdown has started…..tomorrow (May 20) evening from 6-8pm “Welcome to the Conversation,” the annual Graduate Thesis Exhibition, opens at the Rhode Island Convention Center! The walls are up, the work is almost finished being installed and the web gallery is posted.

This year there will be a special edition book to accompany the exhibition, conceived and organized by the Graduate Student Alliance and designed by Issac Gertman MFA ‘07 GD, entitled Making Something Out of Some Things. Each graduating student will receive a copy — copies will be available at the Office of Student life beginning Thursday, May 21. You can also purchase the book at the RISD bookstore beginning May 21. Special thanks to Christopher Ro MFA ‘08 GD for designing the publicity for the exhibition, including the signs on the New York City buses. (Click here for the press release.)
