Last week’s New York Times “Home” section included a piece on dormitory/student apartment living, “Thinking Like a Student: Fearless Décor.” Not surprisingly, two RISD students — Katherine Carroll ‘10 TX (”who found a way to make her apartment upbeat and original”) and Michael Kolendowicz ‘09 PT (an “expert recycler,” who created remote-control lighting, among other domestic features) were featured among the students whose living spaces are daring, innovative and fun.
