Tune in to the international conversation surrounding wealth inequality during a live satellite presentation of Friday’s Creative Time summit, an annual convention for innovators to discuss creative strategies and enact social change.
As one of the summit’s partners, RISD will air the convention live in the Chace Center’s Metcalf Auditorium. It’s free and open to everyone from 10 am-6 pm.
Presenters at the 2012 Creative Time Summit: Confronting Inequity will reflect upon recent upheavals in the international political and economic climate, focusing specifically on the topic of wealth inequity across the globe and the ways in which it erodes democracy.
Some of the key speakers include Martha Rosler and Pablo Helguera, both of the Angeles Poverty Department, and Suzanne Lacy of Conflict Kitchen in Pittsburgh.
